Barista! All the Baristas have a different and conceptual kind of ambiance. Each and every barista's ambiance is best in itself. So, as usual the ambiance was good and peaceful. U can sit here for your office work too. Cappuccino coffee was really good.

Barista is a "Maestro" in the art of coffee making. This outlet in Mcleodganj offers a serene ambiance, excellent beverages and great service. It's situated opposite to the Dharamshala Skyway boarding gate, adjacent to Subway. You can enjoy the captivating view of the Ropeways entering and leaving Mcleodganj, against the backdrop of lush green Himalayan mountains, while relishing your hot cup of coffee. The interior decor of this restaurant is highly sophisticated, with coffee posters and quotes of the Dalai Lama. Highly recommended.

This relatively new franchise on Temple Road, close to the Dalai Lama's Main Temple strikes all the right chords. Trained baristas, a mix of pleasantly designed indoors and outdoor seating, a range of hot and cold beverages and of course a bakery counter with long-time favourites like blueberry muffin. The indoor seating has comfortable seating ranging from sofas to chairs around round faux-wood tables. The service area has beautiful bar-like hanging lights. The outdoor seating area has an added bonus of overlooking Temple Road, the main drag of McLeodganj. This makes it a great spot for people-watching. The cappuccinos I ordered were fantastic. Price-wise the same as in any metro city, but the service was pleasant and warm. They made the cappuccino strong without charging extra, and made it extra hot after the brewing process, just as I like it. The beans had character, flavour and body. Later, I ordered a berry frappé. While the quantity was a bit less for the price, the frappé excelled on taste. All in all, McLeodganj now has a fine new place to hang out in, without bothering about the crowds teeming in the streer below.

This Barista is at a great location, just opposite Ropeway with the view of beautiful mountains and ropeway. Service was good, coffees were good, garlic bread was very hard toasted. No washroom of their own, so we have to use nearby Subways that they don’t allow. Overall a 4.
